Fokus ry is a subject association for Social Sciences in University of Jyväskylä. Our members are students of social and public policy, sociology and social work. All in all we have over 300 members in the university. Fokus ry advocates its members interests in student life (education, working life, well-being and free time). Most importantly, we are student led organization, which takes care of its members and work to guarantee enjoyable student life.

We warmly welcome exchange students and international degree students to our events and subject association. As an exchange student, you have to major in sociology, social work or social and public policy in University of Jyväskylä or in your home university to join Fokus ry. International degree students are welcome, if their major is under our Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy.
